We respect your privacy

Your privacy is important to us, and we recognise and respect your right to privacy. We understand you have a right to control how your personal information is collected and used and that you may be entrusting us with personal information – a responsibility we take seriously.

This policy limits our ability to use your information as set out below. 

This notice applies across our website that we own and operate, the services we provide, including our online platforms and any other apps, products or services we may offer (including events or training).

Cybring respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and website visitors. This policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information.

When we say ‘personal data’ or ‘personal information’ we mean identifiable information about you, like your name, email, address, telephone number, bank account details, payment information, support queries, community comments and so on. This information is identifiable as being about you.

Cybring does not always have the need to collect personal data to provide you with products or services. In these cases, when we cannot identify you, then this notice does not apply.

 

Who we are

When we refer to “we”, “us” or “Cybring” we are referring to Cybring Labs Limited and subsidiaries which may operate under different entities across different parts of the world.

Collection of personal information

Information you provide to us directly: When you visit or use some parts of our websites and/or platforms or services we might ask you to provide personal data to us. For example, we may ask for your full name, last name and email address on setting up a login to our platform, or we may request that you provide more information to us in response to a job advertisement, or perhaps for a free promotional offer you may be asked to participate in a social media activity or event activity.  If you don’t want to provide us with personal data, you don’t have to, but it might mean you can’t use some parts of our websites or services

Information we collect automatically: We may collect some information about you automatically when you visit our websites or use our services, like your IP address and device type. We may also collect information when you navigate through our websites and services, including what pages you looked at and what links you clicked on. This information is useful for us as it helps us get a better understanding of how you’re using our websites and services so that we can continue to provide the best experience possible (e.g., by personalising the content you see). Some of this information may be collected using cookies. If we do use cookies, a cookies notice will be available on the website which will enable you to change your cookie settings.

Sometimes we might collect personal data about you from other sources, such as publicly available materials or trusted third parties such as marketing or research partners. Use of your personal information

Our priority when using your personal data is to provide you with any products or services you have consented to using and to help manage our relationship with you.

To communicate: We may provide you with information that you’ve requested from us (like training or education materials) or information we are required to send to you.  Communication may occur via different means including via our website or platforms, particularly in relation to product and operational material.  We may wish to communicate with you for marketing purposes from time to time about our products and services that you may be interested in and for which you provide consent.

To support: This may include providing technical support when there is an issue with systems that may impact us providing our product or services, or there is a direct issue with our product or service. Support may also be in the form of educational support such as training services. Support may be provided by our website, phone, in person, email, via the platform itself or other means.

To enhance our offering and marketing: As an example, by tracking website activity we can improve our customer offering and enhance our user experience. We may also use such data for marketing communication purposes for example to display targeted advertising and messaging to you.

To protect: We may use personal information to help detect and prevent any fraudulent or malicious activity, and make sure that everyone is using our websites, platforms, products and services fairly and safely.

We may from time to time need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, warrant, in the course of a legal proceeding or in response to a law enforcement agency request. We may also use your personal information to protect the copyright, trademarks, legal rights, property or safety of Cybring, cybringlabs.com, its customers or third parties.

If there is a change or potential change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer to the extent permissible at law our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.

Information that we collect may from time to time may be stored, processed in or transferred between parties located in countries outside of the country you live in – such as the United States or Europe, where we may have data hosting providers and cloud service providers located. These countries may have laws different to what you’re used however we will do our best to ensure that these providers have adequate and robust data safety and protection mechanisms in place to protect your personal data. 

 

Security of your personal information

We are committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

The transmission and exchange of information is carried out at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us or receive from us. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal information that we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

Retention: The length of time we keep your personal data depends on what it is and whether we have an ongoing business need to retain it (for example, to provide you with a service you’ve requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements). We will retain your personal data for as long as we have a relationship with you and for a period of time afterwards where we have an ongoing business need to retain it, in accordance with our data retention policies and practices. Following that period, we’ll make sure it’s destroyed or anonymised.

Passwords and Logins: If we provide you with a username and password or you assign your own username and password to any of our products or services, you are responsible for the security of your password and log-in information. You must take responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of this information.

 

Payment Information

If you place an order with us online you will provide information such as your name, delivery address and contact details. We use this information to identify and process your order. When a purchase is made through our website, customer credit card details are collected and stored by our third-party payment provider which facilitates the use of your credit card at a checkout. Our preferred provider is Stripe. More information about how Stripe handles your data and protect it can be found on their company website. Cybring does not collect nor store your credit card data.

 

Access to your personal information

You may request details of personal information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of the information, which we hold about you or believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please email us at info@cybringlabs.com. You have the right to make sure your data is accurate and up to date, you have the right to request that we stop processing your data and you have the right to requested that it be deleted.

We reserve the right to refuse to provide you with information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances as set out by the relevant local laws.

Complaints about privacy

Please be aware that we may change this Privacy Policy in the future. We may modify this Policy at any time, in our sole discretion and all modifications will be effective immediately upon our posting of the modifications on our website or notice board.
